Leah Fung

Scrapbooking veteran Leah Fung has created more than 200 designs published in leading craft magazines and idea books. Scrapbooking mixes all of my favorite things - my friends, my daily life, funny things my kids do, memories, photos, art... My formal training is in fine arts and photography, with degrees in Art and Design and Photography from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA. Currently I have my own photography business and shoot on the side for several clients. I was a cast member for 2 years on Scrapbook Lifestyle (Better Homes & Gardens Scrapbooks Etc) Now you can see me in scrapping action with my friend Leah Fung and Donna Salazar on our video blog (posted on Leah's blog). Summer Happenings

We eat dinner on the roof every night and take in the view. Life couldn't be better right now.

We have been to the beach so many times with many friends. It is just amazing living so close to the beach. The girls are having a great summer vacay.

We have spent a lot of time just relaxing pool side or swimming this summer.

A dear friend of ours took us out for frozen yogurt and took us on a ride in his '55 Woody. It is such an amazing car and in such perfect condition. The girls felt really special riding in it.

Davi and Hallie walk Missy often, or she leads them? Not quite sure.

What have we been up to?

The list is shorter for what we have not been doing.

I didn't update my blog for a while since we were moving to a beach rental and I lost internet for 3 days, but I am back up and running and we are settled into the beach house :) **sigh** so happy.

More later - we have more photos of things we have done and a few projects I have been working on in between working on my tan. Call me and we will meet you at the beach :)

Summer Berries

Today we walked to the creek and picked berries. We ate one or two for each that we put in the bucket, but it was too hard to resist eating them as we picked them. There are grape vines by the creek also, so soon we can go pick grapes.
Our arms are a bit scratched up, but it was worth it :)

Spring Chick

hey, here is a layout for all you chicken lovers :)

I used several of the Around the Block pattern paper, and the quote blocks are ATB pattern paper also.

I stitched the photos and quote together.

I punched circles for the leaves of the tree and used the Around the Block flocking and glitter kit to add a bit of glitter to the leaves.

the cute chicken soft charm is also ATB and I stitched him to the paper.

the letters for the title are Around the Block "Font Dots" they are flocked letters that come with jewels for the dots, I opted to use them plain.

for the grass, I used the ATB label maker and cut the green tape into strips to look like grass.
